Here at AMHS, we host an array of IOSH approved courses.

Leading Safely

IOSH Leading Safely is aimed at people with leadership responsibilities, senior managers, directors, board executives and trustees. The course aims to embed an understanding of the strategic value of health and safety, enable delegates to identify where they want to position their organisations safety performance, identify their operational responsibilities and plan for implementation.

The IOSH Leading Safely can be delivered in house and utilises a simple diagnostic tool to enable the delegates to benchmark their current performance and culture to set the tone for the session, which then focuses on either Achieving Compliance or Beyond Compliance.

The end of course assessment is in the form of an action plan that the delegates then create to work towards.

The course is 5 hours.

Managing Safely

Managing safely is for managers, supervisors and employees with key safety responisbilities in any sector, and any organisation. It’s designed to get delegates up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.

Assessing risks
Controlling risks
Understanding your responsibilities
Identifying hazards
Investigating accidents and incidents
Measuring performance
